History: Connecticut’s Divorce and Family Law Firm

Our founder, Bruce Louden, is one of four Connecticut family lawyers listed in all 12 editions of Best Lawyers in America (1983 - present). In 1981 he and a partner founded the first firm in Connecticut to limit its practice to family law. He has set high standards for the firm and has fostered an ethos of integrity and a commitment to effective and constructive matrimonial law.
Kenneth Caisse, a partner who focuses on litigation, was named one of the top family lawyers in Connecticut in 2006. Shannon Louden, a partner who practices both litigation and mediation, was honored as a “New Leader of the Law” in Connecticut in 2002. The divorce law firm has grown from two lawyers and two support staff in 2001 to seven lawyers and eight support staff with offices in Norwich and Hartford, CT in 2008.
